Alongside King Salmon, we regularly catch lake trout, known for their strength and delicious flavor, as well as brown trout, coho salmon, and steelhead (rainbow trout). Each species brings its own unique challenge, ensuring a variety of fishing experiences. Steelhead, in particular, offers a thrilling fight and is always a welcome addition to the day's catch.

Our fishing season on Lake Ontario runs from April through mid-June, with the most productive time being from April to May for the King Salmon run. During this time, the cooler waters of Lake Ontario bring in the King Salmon, with lake trout, brown trout, and coho salmon making appearances as well. Steelhead are often targeted early in the season before the water warms up.
